Travis Ortiz is a writer, visual artist, and publisher living in San Franciso. He is currently finishing a book-length manuscript called variously, not then. geography of parts was published in 1998 by Melodeon Poetry Systems. His work has appeared in Chain, Salt, and Poetics Journal. He co-directs Atelos Publishing Project with Lyn Hejinian. He is a Burning Man arts grant recipient for 2002.
