_ fissure trajectory: a family of curves and surfaces - supplemental book

have been obstructed until now:
Purchase 8 sheets of 8.5 x 11” vellum.

Put the vellum sheets in your laser quality printer.

Print the fissure_book.pdf file. (The cover is color. You may want to print that on a color laser or inkjet printer.)

After the pages print, make sure they all face the same direction.

Cut the sheets with a durable paper cutter at the crop marks indicated. (Crop marks should be the same on each page). You can cut the pages individually or in a stack as long as the marks are carefully placed in alignment.

While carefully keeping the cut pages in order, fold each page in half. The first two sheets, the cover and the title page, should be folded so that the image and the text appear on the outside of the fold. All the other pages should be folded so that the text appears on the inside of the fold. On these pages, the text or graphical elements will appear on the inner right section.

The pages are not to be collated in a saddle-stapled format, i.e., nestled inside each other. Rather, place only the title page inside the cover page in the traditional saddle-stapled style. Then, stack the remaining pages in order one on top of the other. Take this stack and nestle it into the cover/title page -- the cover/title page will be enveloping the stack. It should all look like a booklet now.

Got that? Sew the spine with white thread using no more than2 stitches. Take your needle and thread and go through the front of the cover (as close to the spine as you can while still puncturing all inside pages) and come out the back cover. Tie a knot. Do this twice.

You now have the Book of Opaque Meditations. Practice each set of guidelines while experiencing its screen-based component.
